Hatha Yoga is a traditional form of yoga that focuses on balancing body and mind through :-

  • physical postures (asanas),

  • breathing techniques (pranayama), and

  • meditation.

It’s known for its gentle, slow-paced approach—perfect for beginners or anyone seeking a mindful, grounding practice.

The word “hatha” itself means “sun and moon,” symbolizing the harmony between opposing energies within us.

The moon symbolizes the feminine energy, known as (ida nadi) , linked to coolness, intuition and calmness , flowing through the left nostril

The sun represents the masculine energy (pingala nadi), linked to heat, activity, and logic, flowing through the right nostril.

Meditation

Meditation is the bridge between the physical and the spiritual—it calms the fluctuations of the mind and brings awareness to the present moment.

The ultimate goal of asanas is to enable you to meditate. Join me to start you journey of meditation suggested by the great Swami Rama who is known as the great guru on the right way to do meditation!!!
